Life Vibes

Technology without culture is machinery. The exhibitions, films, books, music, and ideas gathered here are not side interests: they ground a worldview where digital work exceeds engineering. From the Venice Biennale to investigative journalism, these are the currents that give technical work its meaning.

The world beyond the screen

Technology without culture is nothing more than mechanics. These interests are inseparable from my work; they are the reason my work exists.

Has the internet hypnotised us?

Social networks have suddenly become antisocial, even though the internet once promised us better social interaction.

We value buzz, the viral, the instant, yet struggle to hold ten minutes of meaningful conversation. Scrolling through hundreds of videos and faces, paradox, leaves us more alone than before.

The internet has changed the way we communicate. It has changed the way we think and our relationship with silence.

I therefore keep my distance from the noise of algorithms, favouring a slower and fuller experience: being present, here and now.

The most precious moments are lived far away from screens..

Digital Sovereignty and Geopolitics

New technologies are no longer merely tools; they have become matters of power, national sovereignty, and influence.

The interference and dependency of Swiss and European citizens and businesses on dominant platforms (GAFAM & Co.) are now political issues.

All sectors rely on them, despite ongoing efforts to find less invasive, more local alternatives.

Like a near-military presence, AI will extend into every strategic layer of our daily lives.

Digital infrastructures are no longer neutral. They shape power relations, autonomy, and the ability of societies to make independent choices.
